Exhibition concept and identity marking the 50th anniversary of the Great Famine in China (1958-1962).

The focal point of the exhibition is a small group of Chinese chefs who survived the Great Famine and then endured China’s subsequent Cultural Revolution with resilience, ingenuity and humanity. These extraordinary individuals have dedicated their lives to ending hunger in the most rural sections of China and share their stories for the first time in 50 years.
